The Buckeyes trailed the Illini 18-13 with three rounds to go, but the Buckeyes closed out the match with a major victory and two pins for the 29-18 victory over Illinois in St. John Arena Sunday afternoon.

Buckeyes Win! Beat Spartans 72-67.

Five Buckeyes scored in double figures led by 22 from JaQuan Lyle to enable OSU to pick up their first Big Ten win of the season.

OSU is now 11-7 on the season and 1-4 in Big Ten play.

No. 18 Wisconsin Blows Out Buckeyes in Madison 89-66

No. 18 Wisconsin wasted little time in putting away Ohio State by a final of 89-66. 

The game was marginally competitive for about 13 minutes but an 8-0 run by the Badgers put them up by 10 with just under seven minutes to play in the first half. Wisconsin finished the half up 18 at 45-27, then opened the second half with an onslaught that stretched the lead to 63-33.  

Ohio State is now 10-7 on the season and 0-4 in conference play. Wisconsin is now 14-3 overall and 3-1 in the Big Ten.
