2013 Season: Smith earned honorable mention all-Big Ten Conference honors (coaches) as a junior after catching 44 passes for 660 yards and eight touchdowns to rank second on the team in all three categories ... he caught a pass in all 14 games ... he was on the receiving end of a Kenny Guiton pass that represents the longest play from scrimmage in school history - 90 yards - vs. California ... less than two minutes later he caught a 47-yard TD, part of a career-high 149-yard receiving day against the Golden Bears ... 49.7 yards-per-catch vs. Cal was a Big Ten best for the season ... Smith also caught a big, 53-yard touchdown pass vs. Michigan ... he tied a career-high with seven receptions vs. Iowa.

2012 Season: As a sophomore in 2012 Smith was second on the team with 30 receptions and with 618 receiving yards, and his six touchdowns led all Buckeye receivers ... he scored winning touchdowns on long catch-and-run plays vs. California (72-yarder with 3:26 to play) and Michigan State (63-yarder to put Buckeyes up 17-13 late in the third quarter) ... scored two touchdowns vs. Indiana, including a 46-yarder with 6:47 left to play that proved to be the winning points in a 52-49 win ... also had a 60-yard TD grab vs. Indiana, giving him three TDs on the season of 60-or-more yards ... also had multi-touchdowns vs. Cal with a 25-yard score in addition to his game-winning 72-yard score ... scored the first touchdown of the Urban Meyer era at Ohio State, a spectacular, leaping one-handed grab against Miami that ended up being recognized as Intersport's GEICO Play of the Year ... his two 100-yard receiving games - 145 yards vs. Cal and 106 yards vs. Indiana - helped Smith rank ninth in the Big Ten with 51.5 receiving yards per game ... averaged 29.5 yards per catch vs. Cal (5 for 145 yards), good for third-place all-time at Ohio State for a single game ... as a track and field competitor, he qualified for the NCAA outdoor championships as part of the Buckeyes' 4x100-meter relay team ... the team earned honorable mention All-America status.

2011 Season: Devin was among a trio of receivers who led the Buckeyes with 14 receptions, and he ranked first with 294 receiving yards and he was first among wide receivers with four touchdowns ... scored two of his touchdowns in the win over Colorado ... also scored against Akron and he was on the receiving end of the highlight play of the year for the Buckeyes, calmly hauling in Braxton Miller's 40-yard aerial with 20 seconds left for a game-winning touchdown in the 33-29 win over a fine Wisconsin team ... returned four kickoffs for 86 yards and a 21.5 average ... Devin scored points for Ohio State's track team at both the 2012 Big Ten indoor and outdoor championships ... he finished eighth indoors in the high jump (6-9) and 12th outdoors (6-9.75) ... also competed in the 100-meter dash and long jump for the Buckeyes.

More: Smith was a two-time first-team all-Ohio performer for coach Jason Hall at Massillon Washington H.S. ... he had 110 career catches for 2,119 yards and 24 touchdowns (second-best in school history) ... all-county Independent player of year ... state long jump champion and a state qualifier in the high jump and as part of the 4x200 relay ... also a basketball standout ...
