2014 Season
Currently floating back and forth between tight end and linebacker, presumably because tight end Marcus Baugh is serving a two-game suspension. It isn't clear which position Hubbard will ultimately play. "Only God knows what's going to happen to that body." -- Urban Meyer, September 4.

Scouting Report
Per John McCallister, Hubbard can cover a lot of ground, and
has tremendous closing speed. He's a smart football player who
understands different coverages. Very good in run support. Could also
end up on offense with his size and athleticism. Could eventually grow
into a defensive end.
Immediate Projection
A safety in high school, Hubbard will start out as a linebacker
in college. For this reason alone, it is hard to see him making an
immediate contribution while he is learning a new position. With his
athleticism, however, there could certainly be a spot for him on
special teams.
